The cyberspace specialist referred to the new stand taken by the opponents mentioning that the elections should be postponed; “As it happened, during the imposed war, the elections were not postponed for even an hour.”
In an interview with "Station 1400" in "Rouydad" program, Seyyed Alireza Ale-Dawood referred to those activities and remarks made by the enemy media; “The situation has become a bit more difficult due to the Indian virus which is seemingly on the way. I hope that this vicious virus will be soon eradicated.”
Regarding the impact of the virus on social, political and cultural events, he noted; “On the one hand, there is this virus, and on the other hand, we have to move towards the elections, but whispers can be heard that this virus may disrupt the elections.”
Ale-Dawood continued that the enemy and counter-revolutionary media, along with the hypocrites, are speaking of postponing the elections [while such words are heard inside our country and by high-rank executive officials]; “During the imposed war and in the midst of bombing, the elections were not postponed for even an hour, neither should it be allowed to happen this time.”
He then stressed the need to comply with the protocols; “The 2020 US elections was held when the country had suffered the most casualties, and they had a number of solutions in mind.”
Ale-Dawood explained that Americans were hypocritically playing their role in the United States and other countries; “Over the previous US elections, some data was leaked by Facebook and it was later announced that it was done by one of the Eastern Bloc countries, and through analyzing those data, this country discovered the (political) taste of Americans.”
The Iranian political analyst added; “The United States authorities took several steps to prevent this process, and we have to move towards independent cyber sovereignty.”
In another part of the interview with Radio Goftogoo, Ale-Dawood expressed his regret for lack of cyber sovereignty in our country; “We should know that today, the American authorities are trying to affect the elections’ process according to their benefits. This is while the United States didn’t allow for a single tweet from outside the county to reach American people, and this was in an age known as the media-driven era.”
He emphasized; “And they didn’t allow the lame duck president to disrupt the security of the elections.”
