Expert of international affairs says that Vienna Talks are a continuation of The JCPOA, so there shouldn’t be any haste.
This time Radio Goftogoo’s program “Goftegooye Siasi (Political Talk)” raised the topic of Vienna Talks and its relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Policies; This question was also raised that what will happen if the negotiators deviate from the given path.
Expert on International Politics and University Professor Saeid Javanmard said that Iran has always been under pressure of the sanctions but this time despite a written commitment between Iran and The world powers, Trump betrayed the deal and back stepped from its obligations and tried to include Iran’s Missile Program as well as the issue of Human Rights in The Deal. The dishonest behavior of some countries specifically The US cornered The Nuclear Deal and despite the sincerity practiced by the Iranian Negotiators, Iran was betrayed.
“The negotiations must be in favor of the Nation. This is the irreversible policy regarding these talks. The System is against Iranian citizens coming under pressure. Therefore, according to the signals sent from The National Security Council, Our diplomatic team is obliged to make these discussions fruitful.”
Mentioning the importance of the roadmap and the final result of these talks he said that Vienna Talks shouldn’t face any haste and any government involved in these discussions should act responsibly so the country doesn’t get in jeopardy.
Mr. Javanmard reiterated that any haste will result in covetousness of the other side of the negotiations.
“In this case, the West will start imposing unfair conditions on us and if it happens, then there is a serious risk of bowing to this pressure by the current government or the next Iranian administration.”
He said that the previous American administration was under influence of The Zionist Lobby and this region’s autocratic regimes and with the involvement of these elements and their western counterparts, Iran was betrayed. Iran proved its sincerity through the negotiations. Even after The US left the deal unlawfully, Iran chose to remain in the JCPOA. When The European states started to betray their obligations mentioned in the agreement, Iran was forced to reverse its compliance step by step.
