Khormali has said that the sanctions on the international trade sector and national economy are designed in a way to implement maximum pressure on the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic.
In our latest episode of “Eqtesade Bedoune Marz (Economy without borders)” we discussed the latest situation of the embargoes imposed upon Iran with the Secretary of Turkmenistan desk of the Trade Promotion Organization, Dr. Rahmatollah Khormali.
He told our host that the sanctions placed by the global tyranny are considered as the most intensive embargoes placed on any country in the world saying: “the sanctions are consisted of the ones placed by the congress, the embargoes of the US administration and limitations set by the US President.”
Khormali added that most of the sanctions are to disappoint the Iranians from the revolution and by pressurizing the international trade and economic activities they’ve targeted the nation as well as the central administration.
He further said that different sectors of Iranian economy and financial institutions as well as many individuals and authorities are targeted by these sanctions; “The biggest problems are being felt in the banking and the financial sectors. For a trade to take place banking is the first step, but because of the embargoes placed on this sector, we’re facing some obstructions in our international business.
Rahmatollah Khormali also called Iran’s access to the high seas of the south and the Caspian in the north as an advantage which has also been targeted by the Americans so they can reach their goal of pressurizing the Iranian nation and the traders.
“Iran’s insurance sector has been another target of the US sanctions; if a business person intends to exchange a product anywhere in the world, he must insure that good, but the President of the US has prohibited the insurance companies from providing service to the Iran related trades.”
Khormali said that despite the complicated situation there are some solutions to circumvent these sanctions.
“Iran has resorted to some activities which has successfully bypassed these embargoes.” He added.
Secretary of Turkmenistan desk also pointed out that many countries avoid trading with Iran through the banking channels saying: “I’ve discussed the issue with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Turkmenistan several times; because of the terror created by the Americans, they’ve rejected all our requests of trading through the banking channels so far.”
